Dean's Bio

Since my childhood, I have been riding dirt bikes. However, I did not start racing until 1999,when after the sudden loss of my younger brother, I was left with his YZ125 race bike. After an extensive period off bikes, at which time I was competing in provincial level bodybuilding competitions, I again started riding at local tracks and tried racing for the first time in the fall of 1999. Since that experience, I have been hooked! That was four years ago, and my enthusiasm & passion for the sport continues to grow. Since then I have acquired a sponsorship through "Checkpoint Yamaha" and moved up to race the 250 Intermediate class, with the goal to qualify for a National Race in 2005.
