Bikini Champion UKBFF
Jayne was born and bred in Hong Kong. She grew up as a swimmer and track athlete, competing at both Inter-Collegiate and National Level. In the latter, she competed mainly as a distance runner (5km to Half Marathons) for one of the top local athletics teams, Watson’s Athletics Club, and held a Hong Kong Junior record in the 10km and 21km in 2009. She grew up alongside her talented younger siblings, with a brother on the Hong Kong National Swimming Squad, and a sister on the Hong Kong National Triathlon Team.
Jayne initially moved to the United Kingdom for higher education at the University of Bristol, where she graduated with a BSc in Geography. During her time there, she joined the cross-country team in her first year, but took on Boxing in her second and third years, captaining the Women’s Team in the latter. After graduation, she moved to London to study at University College London, where she obtained an MSc in Urban Development Planning with a Merit.
During her time in higher education, Jayne realised she wanted exercise, health and fitness to play a dominant part of her life, like it did growing up. So after her Masters, she qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor, and has been working at Gymbox in London since. Since April 2014, she has been training for the UKBFF and won her debut UKBFF Kent Klassics qualifier, in the bikini class, in August 2014, and was invited to compete at the British Finals. Jayne also won the UKBFF Classic at Bodypower in 2015
